Exide Technologies is an American manufacturer of lead-acid batteries. The company produces and recycles automotive and industrial batteries for retailers and transportation manufacturers. Its batteries are also used for a variety of other products, including boats, farm equipment, golf carts and hybrid vehicles. They recycle millions of pounds of lead and sodium sulfate every year, as well as recovering and neutralizing millions of gallons of sulfuric acid. Exide’s global headquarters are located in Milton, Georgia.
