POSCO is a multinational steel-making company that operates two steel mills in South Korea, in Pohang and Gwangyang. The company specializes in hot and cold-rolled steel products, and produces more than 39 million tons of steel a year. In addition, it also operates a joint venture with U.S. Steel, USS-POSCO, which is located in California. POSCO was founded in 1968 and is based in Seoul, South Korea.
