The company has four core areas of business: Innovative materials, Construction products, Building Distribution and Packaging. Saint-Gobain has made a number of acquisitions in recent years, including the world’s largest manufacturer of plasterboard BPB and the Maxit Group. Founded in 1665, it is headquartered on the outskirts of Paris, at La Défense and in Courbevoie.
