Tokyo Electric Power or TEPCO is a Japanese electric utility with more than 28 million customers. It services Japan’s Kantō region, along with Yamanashi Prefecture and the eastern portion of Shizuoka Prefecture. TEPCO's 190 power plants have the generating capacity of approximately 64,500 MW, primarily produced by thermal, nuclear, and hydroelectric power sources. Its headquarters are located in Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda, Tokyo, and international branch offices exist in Washington, D.C., and London.
