Countertop Manufacturing in the UK
Over the five years through 2022-23, countertop makers' revenue will grow at a compound annual rate of 0.9% to £1.4 billion. Rising disposable incomes, growing residential construction and soaring property transactions have driven this growth, though Brexit-related disruption to construction did hinder this. Revenue dipped in 2020-21, however, after the COVID-19 outbreak brought construction activity to a near standstill at the start of the year. This industry cuts, shapes and finishes countertops for kitchens and bathrooms. These countertops are primarily made out of wood and plastic laminates. The industry does not include countertops constructed on-site by building contractors.
This report covers the scope, size, disposition and growth of the industry including the key sensitivities and success factors. Also included are five year industry forecasts, growth rates and an analysis of the industry key players and their market shares.
