Logging in China
As a steadily growing economy, China's demand for wood materials has grown at a volatile rate over the past five years. Real estate industries, infrastructure construction and furniture manufacturing industries are currently the major downstream consumers of logs, wood and timber in China. As local forest resources are scarce, the Logging industry relies considerably on imports. The Logging industry in China purchases and leases harvesting equipment and machinery from relevant service providers and uses them to fell trees. Simple further processing procedures like tree delimbing, topping and bucking are also included in this industry. The industry does not plant or grow trees, nor does it manage the forests from which logs are derived.
This report covers the scope, size, disposition and growth of the industry including the key sensitivities and success factors. Also included are five year industry forecasts, growth rates and an analysis of the industry key players and their market shares.
