Technical and Vocational Education and Training Operators have endured multiple challenges through 2022-23. Revenue derived from domestic student fees has declined over the period due to falling domestic enrolments. This trend has forced some industry operators to merge to remain viable. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has driven a steep decline in international enrolments. Overall, industry revenue is expected to decrease at an annualised 2.2% over the five years through 2022-23, to $1.1 billion. This includes an anticipated decrease of 3.9% in 2022-23, following an exceptional rise in public funding in 2021-22.Happy campus: International student enrolments are projected to recover strongly as borders reopen
