He is a Fellow of The Textile Institute (FTI), the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and the Textile Association of India (FTA). He has an international reputation for his expertise in weaving technology. Dr. Gandhi currently runs a textile services company in Manchester, and conducts tailor-made courses for industry or institutions, in the areas of weaving, yarn preparation, woven structures / textile design, spinning, fibres, and fabric properties.
