Electrophysiology Diagnostic Catheters (Cardiovascular Devices) - Global Market Analysis and Forecast Model

Summary

Electrophysiology Diagnostic Catheters (Cardiovascular Devices) - Global Market Analysis and Forecast Model is built to visualize quantitative market trends within Cardiovascular Devices therapeutic area.

Electrophysiology Ablation is applicable for a wide variety of arrhythmias and has an extremely high success rate with low rates of complication and recurrence. Arrhythmia is a condition of the heart in which the heart is either beating too fast, too slow or with an irregular rhythm. Fixed curve diagnostic catheters have 4 electrodes; a proximal pair and a distal pair with a fixed curve in the distal end. The catheters are capable of rotation at its proximal end by the physician as it is inserted from vascular site. Steerable diagnostic catheters have "Pulley" Mechanism that allows the operator to change the curve at the end of the catheters. Pulmonary vein loop catheters are entered into the pulmonary vein, the circular portion of the catheter enters the vein to collect the local electrical signals. Ultrasound catheters are used to provide a 2-Dimensional or 3-Dimensional image that help better understanding of the heart chamber borders and verify the heart tissue with help of ultrasound technology.
