Products placed on the market or labeled before the end of October 2013 were permitted to be marketed until 28 April 2015.
If flavors or coloring from sources other than the reconstituted fruits are included the product cannot be categorized as nectar regardless of juice content. May contain pulp and cells from the same kind of fruit.
Whilst juice content is required to be equal to or in excess of 25% by volume, minimum juice content varies according to the fruit in question. Includes products from concentrate and not from concentrate, chilled and ambient products.
Includes coconut water where the product is not 100% pure coconut water and juice content percentage is between 25-99.9%. 100% pure coconut water products are included in the juice category.
Excludes concentrates which when reconstituted conform to the definition of nectars above; these are included in squash/syrups.
