This 8-hour online course will “train-the-trainer” to educate employees or clients who will be performing urine specimen collection under DOT protocols. Students who complete the course can conduct in-house corporate training or start their own training business.
Course Overview
The DOT Urine Specimen Collector Train-the-Trainer course is a comprehensive online training program that covers the instructional practices necessary for training urine specimen collectors in accordance with federal regulations.
This program complies with the “train-the-trainer” requirement for collector training and monitoring as outlined in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations - DOT regulation 49 CFR Part 40.33(c)(2)(iii). This program is designed for instructors who serve in a wide variety of roles, including those regulated by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and the U. S. Coast Guard (USCG). It will also be applicable to service agents of federal agencies covered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Guidelines for Workplace Testing.
With the train-the-trainer certification, in-house corporate trainers and trainers who want to start their own training business can train and qualify new DOT urine specimen collectors and conduct both refresher and error-correction training for collectors.
Students learn at their own pace with our thorough online learning program that uses videos, documents, resources, and PowerPoint presentations. All training material, including supplies and forms needed for demonstrations, are sent directly to the student. Also included at no extra charge are virtual Mock Demonstrations (Mocks) conducted by webcam. A certificate of completion can be downloaded immediately after passing the online exam.
Obtain certification as a DOT Urine Specimen Collector Trainer in as little as 4 hours and expand your career instantly. Successful students receive a co-branded white label content delivery system called EaslerLMS™ that can be used to deliver training directly to learners, along with a valuable guide to federal regulations on drug and alcohol testing.
