The DOT Urine Specimen Collector Mock Collections is a 2-hour online training that meets or exceeds the DOT regulations for the “Initial Proficiency Demonstrations” portion of urine specimen collection training. Students are able to schedule a time that is convenient for them in as little as 24 hours.
Course Overview
Note: Students will also need to have at least 10 Federal CCFs and six split specimen collection cups for demonstration. If need be, these materials can be sent to the student directly for an additional fee.
Federal Regulations require that DOT Urine Specimen Collectors succeed in three types of training: Basic Information, Qualification Training, and an Initial Proficiency Demonstration.
Completion of this course (sometimes referred to as “mocks” or “mock demonstrations”) will comply with the Initial Proficiency Demonstration portion of DOT training for urine specimen collection. To obtain certification in all three types of training according to DOT regulations, not just the Initial Proficiency Demonstration or “mocks”) register for the complete DOT Urine Specimen Collector Course.
Upon registration, students are directed to schedule mocks at a time that is convenient for them. Appointments for mocks are typically available within 24 hours of registration and are conducted via webcam through a teleconferencing tool such as Whereby, Zoom, or Google Hangouts.
A certificate of completion can be downloaded immediately after passing the online exam. Complete the Initial Proficiency Demonstration portion of training as mandated by DOT regulations for urine specimen collectors.
