Mustafa Kemal Sezgint�rk Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, �anakkale Onsekiz Mart University, �anakkale, Turkey. Mustafa Kemal Sezgint�rk is a Professor in the Bioengineering Department at the University of �anakkale Onsekiz Mart, where he has been a faculty member since 2016. Sezgint�rk completed his M.Sc. in 2002 and his PhD. in 2007, both in the Biochemistry Department at Ege University. His research interests lie in the area of biochemistry, biosensors, cancer biomarkers, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, enzymology, and protein purification and characterization. Professor Sezgint�rk has more than 90 publications and his works are referred to over 1900 times in refereed journals in the field of biosensors. He has supervised 5 PhD students and 11 Master dissertations in Turkey. Professor Sezgint�rk also successfully coordinated several scientific projects such as T�BITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), and BAP (Projects of Scientific Investigation). In 2016, he won the Award for Outstanding Young Scientist (Turkish Academy of Sciences-GEBIP), a prestigious scientific award.
