There are over 460 nursing homes in Ireland that provide care to more than 25,000 people across the country, according to Nursing Homes Ireland (NHI). People are ageing, supporting the demand for nursing homes as this generation are more prone to health issues. Rising prices for private nursing homes is also benefiting revenue growth. However, high inflation is constraining incomes, reducing the number of people that can afford private homes, and limiting growth. Revenue is forecast to rise at a compound annual rate of 0.8% over the five years through 2023 to reach €761.5 million.Advancing performance: The ageing population is set to encourage industry growth in the coming years
