The September 2020 edition of Première Vision Paris was the first edition of the fair to be held entirely online as government restrictions and other complications associated with the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the hosting of a physical event in Paris, France. However, the organiser of the fair--the France-based company Première Vision--made the most of its resources and opened up its Première Vision Marketplace online platform to all exhibitors to enable them to showcase their collections for the autumn/winter 2021/22 season. To create the atmosphere of an event, the organiser additionally hosted two days of webinars. These covered a diverse range of topics, including environmental sustainability and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on consumer behaviour as well as trends for the autumn/winter 2021/22 season.
This reports analyses the key topics discussed at the event, as well as the most important trends in yarns and fabrics for the autumn/winter 2021/22 season.
