Editor's Note:
- In June 2024, China's TiO2 market basically entered the traditional slack season, with demand getting weaker. TiO2 producers lowered their ex-works quotations of TiO2; specifically, rutile TiO2 prices dropped by USD70.34-USD182.88/t (RMB500-RMB1,300/t); anatase TiO2 prices fell by USD70.34-USD140.67/t (RMB500-RMB1,000/t).
- In June, ilmenite producers were cautious about taking orders and they were determined to hold high prices. As a result, some orders were in a standoff and prices also maintained stability.
- In Jan.-May 2024, domestic high titanium slag output increased by 9.59% YoY; output of acid dissolved titanium slag grew by 60.33% YoY.
