About the Author

Dr. Húlan is working as an associate professor at the Department of Physics, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia. At the same institution, he graduated in physics of materials and also completed his Ph.D. (2016). He has been working in the field of clay-based ceramic materials with a focus on the processes occurring during thermal treatment, including their kinetics, microcracking, and phase transitions. He has been involved in funded projects dedicated to the reuse of waste materials, the development of anorthite ceramics, and glass-ceramic glazes in the capacity of a principle and co-investigator. Dr. Húlan published over 40 journal articles and conference publications that received over 140 citations to these publications.

Dr. Ondruška is working as an associate professor at the Department of Physics, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia. He graduated in the teaching of physics and informatics (2007), and completed his Ph.D. (2011) at the same institution. The main focus of scientific activity is in condensed matter physics and acoustics, specializing in mechanical, electrical, and thermophysical properties of materials. He specializes in the study of the DC and AC electrical conductivity of ceramic materials in the temperature range of 25-1200 °C and the study of the mechanical and thermophysical properties of ceramic and building materials.
