Syed A. Ahmad University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Syed Ahmad, MD, is the Director of the UC Cancer Center and is professor of surgery?at the UC College of Medicine. Dr. Ahmad became director of the UC Pancreatic Disease Center in 2007 and director of the division of surgical oncology in 2015 and the director of the UC Cancer Center in 2020. A nationally recognized leader in oncologic surgery for pancreas and hepatobiliary cancers, he has published over 200 articles and chapters and edited several textbooks. He has delivered over 150 national and international lectures. Dr. Ahmad also plays a major role within the Southwest Oncology Group serving as the Chair of the Surgery Sub-committee. He serves as a reviewer for over 20 prestigious clinical and research journals, is Associate Editor for the Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancers and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, and Deputy Editor for Annals of Surgical Oncology, and serves on the editorial boards of five journals. Currently he chairs the Clinical Trial Committee for the AHPBA and the Membership Committee for the Central Surgical. Shishir Maithel
