Huawei Investment & Holding Co., Ltd. (Huawei) is a manufacturer of consumer devices and information & communications technology (ICT) infrastructure. The JICs focus on innovations in a variety of technologies, including cloud computing, fixed broadband, mobile broadband, etc. At the JICs, the partners conduct research on information and communication technologies (ICT) and business modeling to develop better products and services and improve user experience.

In September 2021, Huawei established the Digital Finance and Security Innovation Lab (Fin²Sec) in Helsinki, Finland. Through the lab, Huawei will collaborate with banks, payment service providers and financial companies in Europe to develop fintech solutions for the unaddressed pain points of banking customers.

Huawei and the Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) established the PCCI Innovation Center in Pasay City, the Philippines in January 2021.

In July 2021, Huawei established the EITC in Sao Paulo, Brazil with an investment of RMB35 million ($10.5 million). Huawei offers its expertise in AI, cloud, and 5G infrastructure to the center's participants to help them develop 5G-based applications.

In September 2020, Huawei established the Huawei Digitalization and Innovation Center in Belgrade, Serbia to contribute to Serbia's IT and software industry.

Huawei and the Thailand government's Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) established the 5GEIC in Bangkok. As a 5G ecosystem incubation and digital innovation accelerator, the center offers a wide range of 5G training courses to entrepreneurs and telecom professionals, helps partner companies convert their innovative ideas into functional solutions, and creates business opportunities in Thailand and other global markets through its partner ecosystem.

Huawei and the Wuhan Economic Development Zone established the Huawei Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center in Wuhan, China, in 2021. The center will collaborate with Chinese companies and universities to develop a connected vehicle industrial cluster.

Huawei established its 5G Innovation and Experience Centre in London in 2019. The center facilitates collaborations between 5G innovators and businesses in the UK.

Huawei and PES University, a university in Bengaluru, India, established the PESU-Huawei Innovation Lab in PES campus, Bengaluru.

Huawei launched the Spark Accelerator Program in Singapore in 2020 to support technology start-ups and develop a start-up ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region. Huawei organizes the six-month accelerator program in partnership with Startup SG, a startup hub in Singapore, and Enterprise Singapore, a Singapore government agency focusing on enterprise development in Singapore. Huawei conducts competitions to shortlist companies for the Spark Accelerator Program.

Huawei and the University of Moratuwa, a university in Sri Lanka, established the Huawei ICT Academy Innovation Lab at the university's premises in 2021. The lab will focus on developing local talent to enable Sri Lanka emerge as a digitally inclusive society.

At Viva Technology 2022, Huawei unveiled the Tech Arena competition in June 2022. In order to provide students from all around the world with additional possibilities to experience and learn how to address real-life challenges, Huawei's global laboratories sponsored and designed the Tech Arena competitions in collaboration with premier universities.
