A flexible organic light-emitting diode (FOLED) is a type of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) that includes a flexible plastic substrate on which an electroluminescent organic semiconductor is deposited. This allows the device to be bent or rolled during operation. Flexible OLEDs are one way to create a rollable display, and they are now the subject of research in both academic and industrial groups.
