Dell and HP Inc. are the market leaders in the United States PC industry, holding a combined market share of more than 50%, followed by Lenovo and Apple. There are also differences in the hardware options and the operating systems installed on the devices. Microsoft Windows, which accounts for more than half of the market share in the United States, and Apple's macOS, which accounts for about 25%, are the two most popular computer operating systems.
