The industry’s growth over the forecast period will also be driven by a EUR5.7 billion ($6.1 billion) investment from the French government in expanding local rail services in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This investment aims to boost daily passenger traffic from 220,000 in 2023 to 300,000 by 2035.
