Demystify the concept of functions in Excel®, empowering you to harness the full potential of this powerful spreadsheet software.
Functions in Excel® are pre-defined formulas that perform specific calculations or actions on data. They serve as building blocks for creating dynamic and efficient formulas to manipulate and analyze your data. With hundreds of built-in functions available, Excel® offers a wide range of capabilities to handle various types of data and tasks. Excel® contains over 500 functions. Strip away the ones nobody uses. Discount the ones that have a specialized use case, and you’re left with a core set of functions that all Excel® users should know, regardless of their job function, industry, or business sector.
This presentation covers some of Excel’s most popular productivity-boosting functions. By the end of the session, you will have a solid foundation in Excel® functions, enabling you to leverage their power to perform complex calculations, automate tasks, and analyze data effectively.
This training is categorized as intermediate. It is aimed at users who want to learn about the commonly-used worksheet functions in Excel®.
Although the training will be delivered using the latest version of Excel®, this training is relevant for users of all versions of Excel®. (Please note that several of the functions, UNIQUE, SORT, and FILTER, are only available to Office 365® subscribers and users of Excel® 2021.)
