Mechanical street sweepers are the most common type in the United States and Canada. However, the share of regenerative air sweepers is gradually increasing. Municipalities are the main buyer segment accounting for over 70% of sweeper purchases; the balance being private contractors.
Fifteen manufacturers have been identified for inclusion in this report. There is a growing demand for non-CDL street sweepers, driven by the shortage of CDL drivers.
