- In 2018, Ryanair decided to move its IT infrastructure to AWS public cloud to rebuild and transform legacy systems using AWS database, analytics, machine learning and deep learning technologies. The cloud migration enabled Ryanair to develop and deliver services for transforming customers travel experience. The strategy helped Ryanair rebuild its core applications, convert data into actionable insights, and create intelligent applications. Ryanair runs multiple core production workloads in the AWS cloud including corporate website and hotel comparison site, Ryanair Rooms.
- Ryanair is leveraging digital technologies to transform into a travel tech company and become the “Amazon of Travel.” It is focusing on modernizing its web and mobile solutions and introduced the My Ryanair loyalty program to deliver a better customer experience. The solutions not only helps it in improving performance but also allows to gather and analyze customer data to understand customer needs for more personalized offerings.
- Ryanair deployed data management solution called Client Solutions’ Reference Data Management Application (RDMA), which provides data accessibility to business and marketing teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns across its multiple digital channels to meet personalized customer needs. This enabled marketing and business analysts with faster data interpretation to analyze and compare product offer mixes to generate higher click-rates.
