Vinod V. T. Padil Associate Professor, The Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies, and Innovation, Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic. Dr. Vinod V. T. Padil is an Associate Professor and Senior Research Officer at the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies, and Innovation, at the Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic. He has over 30 years of multidisciplinary research experience in natural polymers, analytical chemistry, and nano and biobased materials. He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Acharya Nagarjuna University, India. He worked as a scientific officer at the Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), India, a postdoctoral fellow at the National University of Singapore, and visiting research fellow at Wrexham Glyndwr University, UK. His research interests include green synthesis of nanoparticles, environmental bioremediation using nanostructures, 2D/3D clay nanocomposites, electrospinning, and bioplastic fibers/films for food packaging applications. He featured in 2% of the world's most cited scientists by a group of authors associated with PLoS Biology, Elsevier, and Stanford University in 2019.
