Student loans are a unique form of consumer debt with a very peculiar and often misunderstood set of governing laws. This can make assisting student loan borrowers a daunting task for legal practitioners in a variety of practice areas, especially in light of many recent regulatory changes during the past few years. However, there is something attorneys can do to help meet this underserved legal need.

This seminar helps attorneys better manage clients with student loan-related problems. It is also invaluable for anyone who wants to learn more: if you have student loans or if your loved ones have student loans, this program is for you too. The faculty provides vital instruction on the basics and what is new in student loan regulations. The assumption has been that there is nothing that can be done about student loan debt or defaults. There are ways to help clients struggling with student loan related issues and this program gives you the information and skills you need to better serve your clients.
