Massachusetts requires that all auto insurance policies include a minimum amount of no-fault auto insurance as well as a minimum amount of uninsured (UM)/underinsured motorist (UIM) insurance. In addition to the minimums, drivers may elect to add additional no-fault insurance for Medical Payments (Med-Pay) as well as additional UM/UIM coverage. While it should be simple to obtain payment of your medical bills from your own insurance, in practice it can be a complicated and cumbersome process. In this course we discuss how to successfully navigate and maximize coverage in Uninsured, Underinsured, and No-Fault bodily injury claims.
