Yigit Kazancoglu graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2002 and obtained an MBA degree from Coventry University in 2003 and Izmir University of Economics in 2004. He went on to earn a PhD from Ege University. From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a research assistant, followed by a position as an instructor from 2005 to 2008. He served as an assistant professor from 2008 to 2014 and an associate professor from 2014 to 2016 in the Department of Business Administration at Izmir University of Economics. Currently, he holds the position of professor in the Department of Logistics Management at Yasar University.
