Doctor of Philosophy in Urban Planning and Studies, Master in Urban Studies, Master in Urban Planning, and B.S. in Architectural Engineering. Dr. Abdullah Alfaiz is a multidisciplinary specialist with 45 years of experience spanning the fields of national policy, urban planning, architecture, project management, in both the education sector and professional practice, with a focus on smart concepts, technologies, and policy integration. He has worked as a construction project manager as well as a consultant for national planning and development projects of large-scale infrastructure assets. He has also held other positions: advisor for private and government organizations, lecturer at King Saud University, and head of the investment committee of the Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones.
