Abdulkarim Kasnazan is a distinguished medical professional renowned for his recent achievements in the field. Graduating from the Medical College of Mosul University in 1979, he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Senior Registrar in Surgery by 1982. In 2002, Dr. Kasnazan assumed pivotal roles as Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Senior Advisor for the Ministry of Health of the KRG. His commitment to excellence was recognized with prestigious titles, including Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS Glasg), Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS). Currently serving as a Senior Consultant specializing in Digestive and Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant Surgery within the Kurdistan Regional Government in Iraq, Dr. Kasnazan continues to elevate surgical practices and healthcare standards.
