Health Union began in 2010 when two colleagues from the pharmaceutical industry, Tim Armand and Olivier Chateau, recognized the potential of technology to empower those with chronic conditions. They left GlaxoSmithKline to create an online health community that would foster learning, connection, and meaningful sharing among patients. Since then, their vision has come to fruition. Based in Center City, Philadelphia, Health Union now boasts over 250 employees.
