Follitropin Alfa is a type of sexual and reproductive health drug used to treat infertility in women. It is a recombinant form of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and is used to stimulate the growth of ovarian follicles in women who are unable to produce eggs naturally. It is also used to induce ovulation in women who are not ovulating regularly. Follitropin Alfa is administered as an injection and is available in both single-dose and multi-dose vials.
Follitropin Alfa is used in combination with other fertility treatments, such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). It is also used to treat certain types of male infertility, such as hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
The Follitropin Alfa market is highly competitive, with a number of companies offering products for the treatment of infertility. Some of the major players in the market include Merck, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and EMD Serono. Show Less Read more
