The Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) market is a subset of the air purification industry, which focuses on improving the quality of air inside buildings. IAQ products are designed to reduce the presence of airborne pollutants, such as dust, pollen, smoke, and other allergens, as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other hazardous gases. IAQ products can also help reduce the spread of airborne diseases, such as influenza and other respiratory illnesses.
IAQ products are typically divided into two categories: active and passive. Active products, such as air purifiers, use fans and filters to remove pollutants from the air. Passive products, such as air fresheners, absorb or neutralize pollutants. IAQ products are used in both residential and commercial settings, and are becoming increasingly popular as people become more aware of the health risks associated with poor air quality.
Some companies in the IAQ market include Honeywell, Dyson, Philips, Coway, and Winix. Show Less Read more
