The Renewable Aviation Fuel (RAF) market within the Military Aerospace and Defense sector is a rapidly growing industry. RAF is a sustainable alternative to traditional jet fuel, and is made from renewable sources such as biomass, biogas, and municipal solid waste. It has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve air quality. The military sector is increasingly looking to RAF as a way to reduce their environmental impact and meet sustainability goals.
The US Department of Defense has set a goal of using 50% alternative fuels by 2030, and is actively investing in research and development of RAF. The US Air Force has also committed to using alternative fuels for its aircraft, and is working with industry partners to develop and test RAF.
Companies in the RAF market for Military Aerospace and Defense include Neste, SkyNRG, World Energy, and Red Rock Biofuels. Show Less Read more
